Cheshire Young Carers appoints Deputy CEO
Claire Worth has been appointed as the new Deputy CEO at Cheshire Young Carers with immediate effect.
Claire will continue to lead the three teams (activities, education and welfare) in her operational role but will become increasing involved in other parts of the organisation.
Claire joined the organisation in May 2019 initially to lead our activity provision where she developed our special offer for teenage young carers and has been instrumental in developing our residential respite offer to young carers, including oversees experiences for children who have never been abroad.
Over the last few years Claire has become the manager of both our education programme and welfare programme.
Graham Phillips CEO said “This appointment is about strengthening the management of Cheshire Young Carers as we continue to develop our offering to children who are young carers while balancing demand against available funding and staff resources.
